North America is about to get a lot more interesting! Sports entertainment company Sportradar has appointed Eric Conrad as their new Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships & Content for North American operations. The hiring follows closely on the heels of last week’s announced partnership with governing body FIFA which ANA News reported exclusively.

This year, Conrad will be working to continue the work conducted by US Sports Content and Partnerships team. He’ll report directly to Sportradar Chief Commercial Officer Eduard Blonk who has been leading their strategic efforts in North America since joining us three years ago from Porsche motorsport subdivision where he was Senior Vice President for Motorsports Marketing.
The SCP has securely partnered with major sports leagues including NHA (National Hockey Association), NBA(National Basketball League)and MLB(Major league baseball). They also host over 3 thousand employees across 20 countries worldwide!

“We’ve been looking for someone with Eric’s leadership skills and experience to take on this important role. He will be able not only lead our regional team, but also forge additional partnerships that ensure we deliver sports fan value.”

He was previously with Univision, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sports Programming and Acquisitions.

His achievements in the sports industry are unprecedented. He has expanded Univision’s rights portfolio to include deals with FIFA, UEFA and more!

He’s a seasoned professional, with experience in both television production and sports broadcasting. He previously worked for ESPN Programming & Acquisitions team where he held positions that involved media rights sales to MLB & NBA teams respectively .
